    Story editing window

    Story editing window

    In this view, you can add a new story or edit an existing one. You'll see all relevant information about a story. You can edit this information or schedule a channel and publication date for your story. For example, simply select the output channel you want to send your story to with just a click. Or, for example, select an image for your story from the available media content.

    The editing window is divided into a left and right half of the screen. The left half contains general, meta, and planning information, while the right half displays the available media content and a preview/edit area for the story.

    Meta and general data about the story

    Next to the page heading "Edit Story" or "Add New Story ," you'll see the creation date, the topic name, and who the author or currently assigned editor of the story is. You can assign topic editing to another person or group, edit the story title, or assign it a category and status.

    Planning information

    Under Planning Information , you can specify which channel you want to publish your story to and when. Set a deadline for finishing editing. You can also add tags and notes to your story here.

    Available media content

    Here you can add or remove media content from your story. You can preview or listen to the media content, or download the file to your computer.

    Story preview

    The screen area for previewing a story looks different depending on the selected publishing channel. For example, it can be an input form or a WYSIWYG editor.

    End editing/Exit window

    If changes were made in the story editing window, they must first be saved to the database by clicking the Save button. Then, exit the window by clicking the Close button.
    If no changes have been made in this editing window, closing it will return you to the previous view.
    If you want to discard the changes you have made, confirm the warning message after clicking Close .

    1. If you have changed anything in this window: Click the Save button.
    2. Click the Close button.
