    Available media content

    Media content

This screen area displays all media assets permitted for the story's selected publishing channel. Each asset is represented by a thumbnail.

Use an image, video, or audio file for the story

You can add one or, for some publishing channels, more than one of the displayed media assets to your story.

    • Click the thumbnail of the media content you want to add.
→ The media content will be automatically added to your story. The thumbnail will have an orange border.

To remove the media content from the story, click the thumbnail again.

Open hamburger menu on media content thumbnail

Each thumbnail of an available media content has an orange hamburger menu ☰ in the top right corner. It offers further options.

    • Click the hamburger icon ☰ in the top right corner of a thumbnail.

→ To the right of the hamburger icona column of additional icons is displayed, each representing a clickable function.

    Download media content

You can download an image, video or audio file to your computer to edit it or use it for other purposes.

    1. Click the download icon in the opened hamburger menu ☰ of the thumbnail.
→ A dialog window of your operating system opens.
    2. Select the location to save the file and confirm the download.

    Preview media content

Clicking Preview opens a pop-up window. On the left side, you'll see a large version of the media, with the metadata (title , production date , file name , file size , and storage location ) displayed on the right. For video and audio files, the pop-up window contains a player so you can see the preview and/or listen to the audio file.

    • Click on the preview icon in the opened hamburger menu ☰ of the thumbnail.
→ The preview pop-up window opens. A movie or audio file starts playing automatically.

Click in the left pane to pause and start the movie/audio file. In the lower left corner, next to the playback position and total duration, you can adjust the playback speed (1.5x, double, half, and original speed) by repeatedly clicking. In the lower right corner is a volume slider that you can drag right (louder) and left (quieter).
    • Close the window by clicking the red X in the top right corner.
