A platform is a superordinate system, to which several channels can belong. Here you can define comprehensive attributes which apply to all channels of the platform. In addition, you can define attributes for a channel, depending on the platform. This enables you to have one channels with different attributes for each platform.
Platforms can be created and maintained in Admin > Edit parameter > Platform.
